Privacy Policy
Effective October 9, 2026
LonelyTavern LLC publishes ForkFax, the app for iPhone and Android, and this website. ForkFax has no accounts, ads, analytics, or crash-reporting tools. We keep no data about you, keep no logs, and never sell or share information for advertising.
On your phone
- Location, only if you allow it and only while you use the app. It centers the map and never leaves your phone.
- Searches, matched against data already on your phone and never sent anywhere.
- County data you have viewed, cached so the app works offline.
What the app downloads
The app downloads from three services. Each sees your IP address and what you asked for, and handles them under its own privacy policy.
| Service | For | Also sees |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Inspection records | Which county or place you opened |
| OpenFreeMap | The map | Which area is on screen |
| Expo | App updates | The app's version, a random ID made when the app is installed, and, after a crash at launch, its error message |
This website
forkfax.com sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Cloudflare serves it and sees your IP address and the page you asked for.
Children
ForkFax is for a general audience and asks no one, including children under 13, for personal information.
Your choices
Turn off location in your phone's Settings at any time; the app still works. Deleting the app removes everything it stored.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date. Questions: support@forkfax.com
